ME
Irma Brown Dip CAH, PNLP, MNCH, MNGH, MASC (Relax)
I was born and brought up in The Netherlands. My maiden name is Boukema.
I am the middle one of 3 children. In 1993 I moved to Scotland where I married
my husband whom I had met when he was working in Holland.
I was educated at Prins Alexander Polder Scholen gemeenschap (Grammar
School), achieving the equivalent of A level certificates in Dutch, English,
German, History, Geography, Mathematics and Biology.
After leaving school I
trained as a nurse at the v.d. Bergh Institute in Noordwijk qualifying in
1981.
My professional background is in the caring sector. I have worked with children, adults and older people, with an array of different support needs including learning disability and sensory loss. I currently work in mental health services and have done
so for many years.
I currently hold the following professional qualifications: Diploma in Clinical & Advanced Hypnotherapy, Practitioner of NLP, Reiki I and II and Relaxation Therapist.
